The History of Our Favorite Havasu Landmarks
A look at the iconic locations that make Lake Havasu City a premier destination for visitors.

Lake Havasu City is defined by its unique history and stunning surroundings. From the world-famous London Bridge to the hidden gems in the Desert Hills area, our community is built on a spirit of adventure.
The London Bridge: A Bold Vision
The story of the London Bridge is a remarkable chapter in Arizona history. Purchased by Robert P. McCulloch in 1968, the bridge was meticulously dismantled in London, shipped through the Panama Canal, and reconstructed stone by stone right here in the desert. Today, it stands as the heart of our city, connecting the mainland to the Island.
Lighthouses of the Shore
Visitors are often surprised to find more than two dozen scaled-down lighthouses lining our shores. These are functional navigational aids built and maintained by local outreach programs. They represent replicas of famous lighthouses from all over the United States, adding a distinctive charm to our shoreline.
Exploring SARA Park
For those who prefer the rugged beauty of the desert, SARA Park offers some of the best hiking and off-roading near Desert Hills. Landmarks like the "Crack-in-the-Rock" provide breathtaking views and a chance to experience the natural history of the region up close.
Our mission at Fresh Is Best is to give you more time to visit these landmarks. While we manage the laundry with professional precision, you can spend a morning exploring the trails or enjoying the water. Life in Havasu is meant to be experienced, not spent in the laundry room.
